The Gardeners Gild is for those interested in all aspects of gardening. Activities include gardening lectures, field trips to interesting gardens, exchanging plants and gardening information, and tending to the community plantings.

Field Trip, Saturday, May 10

The Gardener's Gild is planning a field trip to Groff's Plant Farm, a family owned greenhouse business in Kirkwood, Pennsylvania (Southern Lancaster County), on Saturday, May 10. This should be an excellent time to go and pick up some new and exciting perennial shrubs or even some annuals. Groff's has 26 greenhouses for plants and so many display benches it can be overwhelming deciding what to purchase. Hours on Saturdays are 9-5, so leaving from the Gild Hall via car pools around 8:00 a.m. should give us plenty of time to stroll and enjoy all the plants. Groff's happily accepts cash and checks but no credit cards. For more details, click here to visit their web site.
