Annual Lois Potter Lecture,
plus dinner and a movie!

This year we present our favorite Shakespeare expert, U of D's Dr. Lois Potter, followed by a showing of Men of Respect, a brilliant mafia "translation" of Macbeth starring John Turturro and Rod Steiger. Admission will be a donation at the door.

Before the lecture we are hosting a dinner for Dr. Potter and the Shakespeare Gild. Non-gild members are also welcome to attend. The menu will be Beef Rouladen or (for vegetarians) Spinach Lasagna Especial, cooked by chef Edmond Bischoff. Reservations are required for the dinner; the cost is $24 per person. Reservations are at 475-3126. If you have questions, call Rhys McClure at 475-1010.

Shakespeare Gild Meetings

The Shakespeare Gild meets the first Wednesday of each month in the new room of the lower hall (“Bratten Hall”). Business meetings start promptly at 7:30 p.m., followed by informal scene readings starting around 8:00. NEW: scenes are now chosen from the “Big Box of Scenes” we have on hand. Anyone is welcome to prepare a favorite scene for reading and add it to our collection. Bring ten copies.
